Hillcrestaceans,

A group of about ten community members met to pare down the list of books that you, the community, submitted for inclusion on the Book List.

The purpose of the book list is to encourage discussion in the community on a common topic, sparked by the reading of a common book or set of books. This year, as always, everyone in the community is encouraged to read all of the books, regardless of your enrollment in Colloquium Magnum. General Colloquium participants are required to use the readings for their group discussions.

That being said, here is the book list for 2008-2009.
